The objections, answered

Are there any upfront fees?

No. FundFind operates strictly on contingency — there is no retainer, filing fee charged to you, or hourly billing. We absorb the research, filing, and legal costs up front. You only pay if we successfully recover funds.

What happens if you don't recover anything?

You owe us nothing. Any costs we incurred researching, filing, or pursuing your claim are absorbed by FundFind. The risk is on us — if we don't win, we don't get paid.

How is the 25% calculated?

The 25% is calculated on the gross amount disbursed to you by the county, before any unusual third-party costs (court costs, lien payoffs, title fees). On a $50,000 recovery under our Standard tier, that means $37,500 net to you and $12,500 to FundFind. There are no add-on percentages, success bonuses, or hidden charges.

Do you handle probate claims differently?

Yes. Probate surplus claims go through estate court rather than individual owner filings, involve heir-tracing and notice work, and require additional legal coordination. Because of that additional work, probate claims are billed at 35% and accepted on a case-by-case basis — not every probate file is one we take on.
